Astroscale Israel is an Israeli subsidiary of Astroscale US and part of the global Astroscale company.

Astroscale’s vision is to secure the safe and sustainable development of space for the benefit of future generations, and is dealing with space debris mitigation, retiring satellites removal and in orbit services.

Astroscale Israel purchased the assets and IP of Effective Space and is benefiting from the years of experience and development already performed. We at Astroscale Israel are proud to develop innovative technologies to perform life extension for end-of-life communication satellites in GEO (Geostationary Earth Orbit). Among these technologies are rendezvous to another satellite using image processing of the target satellite as a feedback to close the loop and docking to satellites which were not designed to be docked to. We control the tandem satellite (the client satellite and our servicer) and perform all orbital maneuvers to the commercial requested standards.

Astroscale Israel is headed by Arie Halsband, previously Effective Space founder and CEO, and has a significant staff of engineers that moved from Effective Space and fresh staff recruited during the COVID-19 pandemic.
